Mido's move to Wigan is still very
possible as Boro expressed their desire to offload the
26 year old striker to Wigan in exchange of Marlon King.
The latter is currently on loan from Wigan to Hull City.
Mido's move to Wigan resurfaced once again as Boro
expressed their desire to land Wigan's on loan striker
at Hull Marlon King.
King couldn't settle at Wigan and was loaned out to
Hull City. Things started well for him but he returned
after reportedly falling out with their manager Phil
Brown lately.
On the other hand, Mido has always been a target for
Steve Bruce but the interest in him has fallen after
their signing of a Colombian striker from Necaxa.
Wigan have already sold Wilson Palacios to Tottenham,
for a fee believed to be worth around £14 million,
which means that they have enough money to sign Mido
either permanently or on loan. The money that Wigan
got from Palacios transfer could be enough for them
to sign Amr Zaki on a permanent deal.
Mido is currently unsettled at Boro and is looking for
a club in the current transfer window. A move to Wigan
could be simply what he needs.
So, it seems that this swap deal will please everyone
and is expected to take place in the coming days...
