Both
Newcastle striker Alan Smith and Boro's Mido are furious
with their clubs after learning from the press that
their clubs are willing to transfer both as part of
exchange deal.
Mido can't accept wearing Newcastle shirt after ill
treatment from their fans
These are not rumours or speculations. The news might
be hard to believe but it is true that Boro and Newcastle
could swap their strikers Mido and Alan Smith as part
of exchange offer this month.
The decision will be a very difficult one especially
for Mido who was a victim of racial abuse by Newcastle
fans twice which means that his relation with the fans
is already poor.
On the other hand, reports revealed that Alan Smith
is said to be furious with the club after hearing about
the offer as well.
According to The Sun newspaper, both strikers Mido
and Smith were not aware that the two clubs were in
talks and only found out on Thursday morning.
It is said that Mido is currently considering his options
as a number of clubs showed interest in signing him
in the current window. Amongst these club, Olympique
Marseille and a couple of Premiership outfits.
It should be noted that Newcastle are struggling this
season in the Premiership. However, the partnership
between Owen and Mido can prove lethal.
Will Mido consider the racist chants from Newcastle
support an individual behavior and accept the club offer?
or will he reject this move and stay at Boro or await
another offer? Only time will tell....
