Newcastle fans continued their racist abuse of Mido
Speaking to Egyptian TV channel, Al Hayat,
Mido expressed his anger from the racial abuse from
Newcastle support.
"They kept chanting disgusting words,
racist words about Islam and unfortunately, this is
the 2nd time from the same fans to do this".
"It happened again since in the first
time the English FA did nothing. I considered this as
an invitation from the English FA to repeat such shameful
acts from the Newcastle supporters".
"I can assure that nothing is going
to happen this time again. The English FA said that
they will be investigating the issue and will make use
of latest technology to stop such racial abuse for players
but I feel that nothing will happen".
"I am asking the English FA to take
a serious action to stop such thing. These chants are
not directed at me as a person but it is directed to
Islam as religion".
Aside from this news, Mido didn't confirm
or deny the talks about his move to Wigan.
"Bruce wanted to sign me before but I didn't decide
anything as of yet. All I want to do now is to score
goals and improve my game but I will decide my future
in the next transfer window".
On Zaki's move to Real Madrid, Mido said:
"Such move will be very important
to Zaki, it will be a dream come true for him and for
all Egyptians but as they signed Huntelaar, I think
this will lower Zaki's chances of joining the Madrid
giants".
On Mohammadi's move to Blackburn, Mido
added:
"I am a big fan of Mohammadi and
I think he will be a very good addition to the Premier
League".
