Mido limped out of training with a hamstring
strain as the NT prepare for the upcoming Wold Cup qualifying
match versus Congo DR. However, Hossam says he will
be able to feature in the game and the injury is a minor
one.
Shawky out for three weeks and Mido injured as well!
Boro fans and Egyptians received another
blow as Mido suffered a hamstring strain and had to
leave training. This comes just a day after Shawky was
ruled out of the Egypt squad which will face Congo DR
after he suffered a groin strain.
While Shawky's injury requires 2-3 weeks
for him to recover. Mido's situation is much better
as the hamstring strain is slight and according to medical
staff, it should not prevent him from playing for Egypt
in the coming game.
"I want to take part in the match, even if
I will play for a few minutes," he said.
"I will do whatever it takes to be fit for the
game. I may start on the bench."
Hopefully, Mido will be fit for the game
and for Boro's upcoming clash after the end of the international
break on the 13th ....
