Mohamed Shawky suffered an injury during
the national team training today and it will prevent

Shawky suffered an injury in national team training
Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Shawky suffered a groin
strain in Egypt's training camp. The player will not
travel with the rest of the Pharaohs to Congo DR and
will not participate in games with Boro for a couple
more weeks.
It is surely a blow to the national team
to lose the efforts of Shawky in midfield in this important
match as he the best defensive midfielder in the team
at the time being.
Egypt will play with Hosny Abd Rabo and
Ahmed Hassan will likely replace Shawky in midfield.
It should be noted that the English Premiership will
continue again on the 13th this month but by the looks
of it, Shawky will not be fit at that time.
It is also worth noting that the extent of injury is
not yet known, but groin strain usually take approximately
2-3 weeks to heal.
