home match versus Stoke. He did well and had an attempt
on goal which was saved. He also was fouled in a harsh
way by Diagne-Faye who received a red card for the foul.
Afonso Alves scored a great goal from the freekick that
Shawky won to put Boro in the lead. However, in the

his own net to level the score again. The winner came

Mido remained on bench until he came on in the 75th
minute replacing Alves, It was a shame that Mido didn't
have much time to score while Alves and Tuncay wasted
many chances.

84th minute, the Turkish striker Tuncay managed to score
the winning for Boro the Turk was near the penalty spot
completely unmarked, Tuncay has missed a host of chances
but this one was easy to convert and he made the score
2-1.
Today's game witnessed Alves and Tuncay scoring their
first goals for Boro this season, while Mido couldn't
have enough time to resume his successive goal scoring
record.
