Rumours are currently linking Mido with
a possible move to Mohamed Zidan's HSV. The Egyptian
was brought to Spurs by Martin Jol and the Dutch coach
is now at helm in HSV.
Will Mido join Mohamed Zidan on bench
at HSV? It seems unlikely but the press reported the
interest from Jol in the former Tottenham star Mido.
Mido now settled at Boro, fought hard
to come back from injury and lose weight. So, it seems
unlikely that he will leave Boro where he is guaranteed
a starting spot to join Hamburg and compete with Guerrero,
Olic and Zidan for the 2 available starting spots at
front.
However, the only possible reason for
Mido to consider such a move is playing in Europe as
Hamburg will play UEFA cup this season contrary to Boro
who will never play in European competitions especially
after letting Boateng, Cattermole and Luke Young go.
The team no longer have enough quality to finish in
the top 10 let alone European qualification.
