Mido & Shawky To Face Spurs As New Season Kicks

The 2008-2009 English Premiership fixtures
have been announced. The new season will kick off on
the 16th of August as usual. Mido and Shawky's Boro
will play at home against Mido's former club Tottenham.
Mido will kick off against his former club, Tottenham
Egyptian stars Mido and Shawky are currently
enjoying their end of season vacation. Both players
will be back to training after a couple of weeks in
order to prepare for the new season.
Boro will kick off their preseason friendlies
on the 18th of July as they face York City in an away
encounter. They will play a couple more matches versus
Celtic and Portuguese side Vitoria on the 22nd and 24th
of July as well. On the 29th of July, they will face
Carlisle United while in August they will play two friendlies
versus Hibernian and Darlington on the 2nd and 5th of
August respectively.
On the 18th of August, the English Premiership
new season will kick off. Mido and Shawky's side will
play at home against Spurs, the former club of Mido.
In the 2nd week, Boro will face Liverpool
away from home while in the week after, they will play
against Premiership newcomers, Stoke City.
It should be noted that both Mido and Shawky should
be ready to kick off the new season. It has been reported
that Mido has lost around 22 lb of weight and he looks
in a very good shape for the new season.
