Mido and Shawky's Boro suffered a last minute defeat
against Reading in a home encounter this afternoon.
While Shawky is still on the way to recover from groin
injury, Mido was fit and ready to play. However, the
Egyptian hitman didn't not start the game as Tuncay
and Alvez started instead. However, he came on in the
68th minute to replace Alvez.

Mido came on as sub to replace Alvez in
Boro's home match versus Reading. Boro needed the three
points from the home match but in the end, the game
ended in an unexpected loss for Mido and Shawky's side
who conceded a goal in the stoppage time.
Mido was dropped from the starting eleven
after playing the entire 120 minutes against Sheffield
United in the FA cup. On the other hand, Alves started
instead for the first time.
The other Egyptian at Boro, Mohamed Shawky
didn't make it to the match squad as he is still suffering
from gron problems but he should be back within a week.
The game almost ended in a goalless draw
but Reading scored from a counter attacking move in
the stoppage time.
