Mido/Shawky's
Boro and Ghaly's Spurs both achieved two important away
wins this week. Spurs won their first away match this
season versus Pompey by a single goal which came through
Berbatov in the 80th minute. On the other side, Boro
achieved their 2nd consecutive win over Derby by a single
goal through the Turkish international Tuncay.
Middlesboro won again in the Premiership.
This time victory came against the bottom side Derby
County by a single goal. The only goal in the game came
in the 38th minute through the Turkish international
Sanli Tuncay who volleyed the ball home to grant Boro
the precious three points.
The win put Boro in the 14th spot in the
table after 17 weeks in the Premiership and wuill certainly
help he side move away from the danger zone.
Egyptian players Mido and Shawky weren't
selected for the game. Mido missed the match because
of his long term injury as he is expected to make his
return with the new year while Shawky is still out of
picture.
Portsmouth Vs Spurs:
Hossam Ghaly's Tottenham won their first
away Premiership match today as they defeated Portsmouth
by a single goal to move up to the 12th spot in table.
The only goal in the game came in the 80th minute through
Dimitar Berbatov who sent the ball home with his right
after a nice chip by Aaron Lennon from the right wing.
Hossam Ghaly is still considered a Spurs
player. However, he doesn't play or train with Spurs
and he awaits the next transfer window to find a new
club.
