Shawky To Leave Boro?

Showtime correspondent in England claimed that Egyptian midfielder Shawky is on the verge of leaving Boro after failing to impress his managed Gareth Southgate. The Egyptian midfielder joined Middlesboro in summer and didn't see action in official games. Aside from this unconfirmed news, Boro finally managed to win as they defeated the leaders Arsenal by two goals to one.

Rare Win:

Middlesboro achieved a precious home win against Arsenal giants by two goals to one. The home side were fortunate enough to win a penalty kick in the 4th minute of the game from which Downing scored the first goal.

In the 2nd half, Boro added another goal through Sanli Tuncay who scored in the 72nd minute to double the lead for his side.

Arsenal failed to convert throughout the game until stoppage time where they clawed a goal back through Tomas Rosicky.

Shawky Could be on his way out?

In a brief comment by ShowSports correspondent in England before the match, the correspondent claimed that English sources which are close to Boro;s manager revealed that Shawky didn't impress his manager in training so far and he is on his way out in the near future.
