Mido's groin problems will keep him out of action for a while

Egyptian striker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam is still struggling to recover from a long term groin problem. The recurrence of this injury kept haunting the Egyptian hitman for a while and prevented him from regaining his top form since the last season.

Mido's coach Southgate confirmed a few days ago that he hopes for a speedy return for the Egyptian but he also stressed that setting a specific date for Mido's return will be hard to predict.

The Egyptian tried to start training with his teammates but it seems that he is far from being ready to play games.

Some recent reports coming from close sources to the player himself revealed that the Egyptian could take around 10 weeks to get back to action which means that the Boro striker is going to miss the upcoming Nations Cup in Ghana.

While nothing is confirmed yet, EP can only wish a speedy return for the Egyptian and will keep you updated with all the latest...
