Egyptian striker Mido will need three weeks
to recover completely from the injury that he suffered
in last week's home match versus Sunderland. The Egyptian
played on Sunday while he wasn't fully fit and playing
him further will make things worse and so, the Egyptian
will be rested for three weeks.
Mido didn't look comfortable at all in last weekend's
clash with Everton which ended in a 2-0 win for the
homeside. The Egyptian participated in the game while
he didn't recover completely from the hamstring injury
that he suffered a week earlier in the home match versus
Sunderland.
Mido had to be replaced in the 62nd minute of the game
by reserves striker Craddock so the injury doesn't get
worse.
The Egyptian confirmed on Egyptian TV that he will
be rested for three weeks and accordingly, he will miss
the Egyptian national team clash with Botswana on the
13th of October. In addition to this, Mido won't be
able to feature in the away Premiership clash between
Manchester City and Middlesboro as well.
Aside from this news, Mido's former club Spurs continued
to underperform in the Premiership as they ended their
home match versus Aston Villa in an amazing 4-4 draw.
The game almost ended in a defeat for Spurs but they
made a great come back from being 1-4 behind to end
the game in a draw.
It should also be noted that Mido's compatriot Hossam
Ghaly is totally out of Spurs plans and the Egyptian
has been spotted in Ahly training in the past few days.
More on Mido, Shawky and Ghaly soon...
