2nd min. GOAL FOR SUNDERLAND! Though pass from the edge of the box, the ball hit Leadbitter who found himself a few yards away from goal and he tuck it away to make the score 0-1.

4th min. Mido did well to start a quick attack for Boro but the ball was deflected behind for a corner after hitting the arm of one of Sunderland defenders. No penalty though.

6th min. Mido laid the ball with his head to Wheater but the latter shot wide.

7th min. Tuncay fell onto the ground in pain after a challenge and had to be replaced by Lee.

12th min. Downing sent a low pass to Rochemback who advanced into the box and fired a low shot that went just wide.

14th min. ARCA LEVELLED THE SCORE FOR BORO! He sent the ball on the floor to O'neil in the right wing, the latter crossed it high into the box, Mido missed the header but Arca didn't and headed it home to make the score 1-1.

20th min. Cross from the left wing into Boro's area, Chopra tried to head hme but it lacked power and the Boro keeper collected it safely.

24th min. Injury for Julio Arca. He couldn't continue and Boateng replaced him.

26th min. Downing started a quick cunter attacking move as he played the ball down the left flank to Lee who laid it to O'Neil but the latter shot was saved.

27th min. Yellow card for Boateng after a foul.

35th min. Downing made some good twisting and turning at the edge of the box and shot the ball with his right, it was deflected off a defender and fell to O'Neil who missed the big chance and hit the ball over.

38th min. Mido held his thigh and he appeared to be suffering from hamstring injury.

40th min. Yellow card for Sunderland's Ethuhu after a foul on Downing.

42nd min. Cattermole prepared to come on to replace Mido but the Egyptian waved to his coach that he can resume the game.

43rd min. Chip to Mido int he box, he tried a header and the ball fell just over the bar!

45th min. End of the first half

48th min. Lee laid the ball back to O'Nel just inside the box but the latter shot lacked power.

49th min. Lee tried to bury the ball into the far corner from range, his shot went just wide.

44th min. The ball came off Woodgate's had in the box but the penalty kick wasn't given for Sunderleand.

56th min. Mido won a freekick after a foul on him by Dwight Yorke.

57th min. Cross from the right wing into the far post, Mido tried the header but he couldn't hit the target and defense cleared the danger.

57th min. Mido came off and Lee Cattermole replaced him. The

62nd min. Cattermole and Leadbitter started a fight after a harsh tackle and both got away with a yellow card.

66th min. GOAL FOR BORO! Downing sent a great low shot from the edge of the box with his right to beat the Sunderland goalkeeper and make the score 2-1 for the homeside.

78th min. Lee crossed high into the box, O'Neil went for the header but he couldn't keep it down.

81st min. Lee crossed again into the box, the ball was headed away by defense to find Rochemback but the latter shot went well over the bar.

89th min. SUNDERLAND SCORED A DRAMATIC EQUALIZER! Liam Miller who replaced Ethuhu fired a great volley from the edge of the box with his left to make the score 2-2!

90+1 Cattermole almost scored for Boro but his left footed shot was deflected for a crner.
