in four games. Read also:
The French U21 international spoke to
the club official website and revealed that he is delighted
with the win versus Birmingham City this weekend.
"It was a great game," said
the striker. "We won comfortably and played really
well. I thought we dominated from start to finish and
thoroughly deserved the three points.
The forward who enjoyed his best game
in Boro's shirt so far, added that his partnership with
Mido is working well and that he enjoys playing alongside
the Egyptian ace at front.
"We get on quite well together. I
think we're both different types of striker. I like
making runs behind him and I try and create space for
him as well.
"We have an attacking mentality and want to go
forward at every opportunity. When we're on the ball
we want to make runs, stretch teams and go for goals.
"When you have a game like this, you want to have
another one very soon. We're very confident and already
looking forward to the trip to West Ham."
It should be noted that both forwards didn't score
in the last 2-0 home win over Birmingham. Still, both
did extremely well to give midfielders and defenders
enough space to score.
More on Mido and Shawky soon...
