Mido scored on his debut to help Boro
get back into the game after they were behind by a goal.
Mido's goal wasn't a pretty one as it came after a fatal
mistake by Fulham's keeper but it got the job done.
Boro managed to score the winner in the 87th minute
to achieve their first win this season. Mido had to
come off after he injured his ankle in the 67th minute.

First half:
2nd min. Flick on by Mido with his head
but no one in the penalty area to get the ball.
3rd min. Dangerous cross from the left
into the box, Boro's keeper Schwarzer parried it to
find Smertin who fired it at goal but it came off a
teammate and went for a goal kick.
4th min. Mido sent a clever long through
ball into the left wing but Downing couldn't get to
it on time.
5th min. Pressure from Fulham ended with
a clearing header into the corner by Boro's defense.
8th minute Nice flick on by Mido to Tuncay
but defense cleared the ball.
9th min. Dangerous cross from Sean Davies
but Boro's goalkeeper collected the ball.
10th min. Through pass to Mido in the
area, the defender was closer to the ball but the Egyptian
fought hard to get to it but the referee whistled for
a free kick by the Egyptian.
12th min. Tuncay won a freekick for Boro
in a good position. The cross went hard at head height
and was cleared for a corner.
14th min. Dangerous low pass by Downing
to Tuncay in the right side of the area, the Turkish
international couldn't find Mido with the low cross
and the dangerous ball was cleared.
16th min. GOAL FOR FULHAM! A low cross
from the right wing was met by McBride who found the
net and injured himself while scoring and he had to
be replaced.
21st min. First effort by Mido on goal.
A long ball was played to him, he managed to control
the ball and squeeze a shot while being under pressure
from two Fulham defenders. The goalkeeper had no problems
with the shot though.
24th min. Dangerous cross from the left
wing into Boro's area but it missed everyone.
25th min. Freekick for Boro after a foul
on Mido. The cross was delivered into the box, Mido
made the flick on with his head but no one was following.
27th min. Dangerous low cross into Fulham's
box, a shot was aimed directly at goal but it sailed
over the bar.
39th min. Arca intercepted a bad pass
and passed to lo Downing, the latter tried to hit the
target from inside the box but he missed.
33rd min. Fulham player Bouazza injured
his wrist and had to be replaced.
37th min. Good one-two between Mido and
Downing, the latter played the ball back to the Egyptian
but the pass was intercepted.
43rd min. Big chance for Fulham to add
a 2nd goal but the shot from inside the box came off
Schwarzer and was diverted wide.
44th min. Dangerous cross into Boro's
area but Taylor headed the ball behind before Healy.
47th min. Yellow card for Boro's skipper
Boateng after a harsh foul.
49th min. Through pass to Mido behind
the defense, he shielded the ball well from his marker
and crossed low in front of goal to Downing but the
latter shot was blocked by a defender.
