Birmingham boss Steve Bruce spoke today about the
delay in signing Mido and Ghaly. The manager confirmed
that Mido is miles away from signing for Blues but he
stressed that he didn't give up on signing the Egyptian's
compatriot at Spurs, Ghaly.
Birmingham manager Steve Bruce admitted
that he is losing hope in signing Egyptian striker Mido
as he described the deal as "a million miles away"
from being completed.
Bruce added that a "few issues"
- but more than just agreeing personal terms - appear
to have resulted in the deal not going through.
Suggested reasns maybe the player's high
wage demand, length of the contract and some clauses

Blues officials modify these clauses.
"It is more than just personal terms.

"It looks as if we are really struggling with
the Mido deal and I might have to look elsewhere. He
added
On the other side, Bruce didn't exclude the possibility
of signing Ghaly, he addmitted though that there are
some other issues that delayed the transfer.
"As for Ghaly, it is faltering a
little but I am still hopeful of reviving that deal.
I haven't given up hope."
