Reports from England revealed that Steve
Bruce is still confident of capturing Hossam Ghaly from
Tottenham. However, the talks with Mido didn't show
any development as the Blues couldn't agree on Mido's
wage demands.
It was also claimed that Birmingham wanted
to loan Mido but Spurs preferred to let the Egyptian
go on a permanent deal to cover the £16m that
they spent on Darren Bent this summer.
So, unless Birmingham agrees to pay Mido
what he wants or the Egyptian lowers his wage demands,
the Egyptian hitman might stay with Spurs for the time
being or wait or a better contract from Boro and Fulham
who are currently monitoring the situation.
