Birmingham full back Stephen Kelly, who
was a former teammate for Mido and Ghaly at Totttenham
spoke today to the Birmingham Mail regarding the £9m
bid from the blues to sign both Egyptians from Tottenham.
Kelly described Mido and Ghaly as top
class players and added that the image of Mido as troublesome
player is only a misconception.
"Mido is a talented player. He's
a world traveller almost already and he's kind of proven
himself in every league. the player concluded.
It should be noted that Birmingham's boss
Steve Bruce is keen on signing both Egyptians permanently
for a fee worth £9m (£6m for Mido and £3m
for Ghaly).
According to British souces, both sides agreed on transfer
details and the Egyptians will be ready to help their
new side in the Premiership which is going to kick off
in a couple of weeks.
The only problem that might face both
Egyptians is their lack of match practice as both didn't
attend preseason preparations with Tottenham.
