English Newspaper
the Telegraph reported that West Ham's coach Alan Curbishle
is interested in Egyptian striker Mido and could launch
a bid for him in the coming days.
Mido's next destination is not certain
yet. However, it is almost confirmed that he will be
on his way out of Tottenham as the Spurs already signed
Darren Bent for 16 M Pounds.
The signing of Bent means the departure
of one of the current forwards. Berbatov and Keane are
not for sale but Mido and/or Defoe are expected to leave.
The Egyptian was in the centre of attention
of some Premiership clubs which include Manchester City,
Birmingham City, Fulham and Portsmouth. Now, Westham
are reportedly interested in the striker as well.
Mido himself revealed a few weeks ago
that Sportin Lisbon are also keen on signing him. However,
he is still undecided about his future.
It should be noted that the fans weren't friendly with
Mido when the Egyptian travelled with Tottenham to play
an away match versus the Hammers a year ago. The Egyptian
hitman was the centre of many racist chants from West
Ham fans whch resulted in the club president and coach
apologizing to Mido and Spurs after the match.
The next move for Mido should be known
within two weeks and EP will keep you updated with the
latest..
