The transfer
deal for Mido to Fulham fell through as Al-Fayed club
couldn't afford the Egyptian weekly wages. The new manager
Lawrie Sanchez didn't agree to pay Mido £25,000
a week despite agreeing to pay £3.7million fee
for the Egyptian ace.
Mido's agent couldn't agree terms with
Fulham to transfer the Egyptian hitman Mido to Al-Fayed
side. The reason behind the failure of the deal to go
through was the high weekly wages of Mido.
Fulham and their new manager have reportedly
agreed to afford the player price tag which is £3.7million.
However, the new manager Lawrie Sanchez told Mido's
agent that the club can't offer Hossam £25,000
a week.
It appears that Mido didn't accept wage
reduction and so, the deal reached a dead end. However,
he is still keen on leaving Tottenham and his next move
will likely be to another Premiership club.
After excluding Fulham, the remaining
clubs that are interested in Mido are Birmingham City,
Manchester City and Portsmouth.
It should be noted that Mido mentioned the 15th of July
as the date on which he will decide his next step.
