"Mido has a slight calf strain and could be back for the game," said Martin Jol to Spurs' official website.

"Hossam Ghaly has got flu and won't be involved," he added.

Both Egyptians may not play in this case, but Mido is hoping to return for the game. Should he recover, he may enter in the second half, with the other strikers fit for action.

Tottenham enter the game as favourites and will look to widen the gap between them and the visitors. Both teams have had a decent season, particularly Reading who have been in the top half despite this being their first season in the top flight.

Spurs are currently 5 points away from the UEFA Cup spot, and are looking to achieve it in case their UEFA Cup campaign comes to a half against the defending champions Sevilla.
