Spanish outfit Celta Vigo, who Mido had a brief loan spell with in 2003, have stated that they are interested in re-signing him but admits there maybe complications.

Mido celebrates qualification to Champions League with Celta

There have been reports of a fall out between Mido and Martin Jol, but that as yet is merely speculation, yet what is definite is that he has fallen out of favour, with Berbatov's recent good form and injury troubles keeping him out of the first team.

Despite their interest in bringing Mido back to the Estadio Balaidos, director of sport Felix Carnero fears they may not even be able to afford Mido, and that there may enough strikers at the club.

"It is very difficult. We do not have space for him," said Carnero.

"It would also be very complicated to pay an elevated amount of money.

"Possibly he wants to come to Vigo, where he has played, but right now he cannot come because we do not have space."
