Spurs managed to make an impressive comeback in their home clash with Wigan Athletic as they scored three goals to end the match in a 3-1 win.

Egyptian striker Mido suffered a groin injury just before the match and so, he was dropped from selection. According to his coach Martin Jol, the Egyptian hitman will be out for two weeks: "Mido has a little tear in his groin and that's why he wasn't fit for selection. He could be out for a couple of weeks." Said Jol on the club official website.

In absence of the injured Mido, Defoe and Berbatov started and both excelled. Tottenham went down by a goal as Camara volleyed the ball home in style from inside the box to give the guests the lead. However, Spurs pressure gave them the chance to equalize and add a 2nd goal in a couple of minutes.

Spurs equalizer came through Defoe who received a clever through pass from the man of the match, Berbatov and the English international controlled the ball well and buried it with his left into the back of the net to make the score 1-1.

Just a minute later, Berbatov received a pass and managed to beat his marker brilliantly before sending the ball in style into the top corner to make the score 2-1.

The 3rd goal came in stoppage time when the ball was played to Berbatov down the left flank and the laytter laid it to the oncoming Lennon who buried it home with his left to end the match in a 3-1 win for Spurs.
