6th min. Through pass to Nonda behind the Spurs defense, he managed to bury the ball home but he was in offside position.

8th min. Pressure from Spurs side and Huddlestone crossed the ball to Defoe but it was headed behind for a corner before reaching the Tottenham forward.

10th min. Mido let the ball go to Defoe who laid it to Davids and the latter shot it low at goal but he missed the target.

13th min. The ball fell to Mido behind the defense, he tried a volley shot at goal but it went wide.

18th min. Tugay chipped the ball to Mccarthy but he was caught offside.

22nd min. WORLD CLASS GOAL BY TUGAY! Pressure from Blackburn ended with a cross the right wing into the box, King headed the ball poorly awy to find Tugay who hit it on the volley into the back of the net from outside the box.

26th min. Yellow card for Mido for a foul in the air on Henchaux.

29th min. Lee tried a low shot from very narrow angle and the goalkeeper had no problems saving it.

32nd min. Defoe tried a shot from the edge of the box but Friedel parried it away to safety.

35th min. Mido headed the ball into the area to find Huddlestone who laid it with his head to Defoe, the latter shot it on the volley brilliantly and his shot went just over the bar.

40th min. Ghaly tried to find Mido in the box with a cross, the Egyptian tried a cross from the left but his pass was deflected off his marker for a corner which came to nothing as Ghaly's cross from the corner kick was poor.

43rd min. Freekick for Blackburn after a foul by Ghaly who llost possession in midfield.

45th min. MIDO WASTED A REAL CHANCE! Ghaly headed the ball to Mido who was onside and had only the keeper to beat but his righht footed strike went well wide.

45+1 min. Another wasted oppertunity by Mido! Davids did well to beat a defender and sent a through pass to the onside Egyptian forward who tried to bury the ball with his left but it lacked power and the goalkeeper had no problems saving it.

46th min. Mido tried another shot from outside the box, he missed the target this time as well.

47th min. Mido scored from a header but the goal was ruled out for offside. The Egyptian was in offside position when the freekick was played to him.

48th min. McCarthy tried to chip Robinson but his attempt went just over.

53rd min. Lee crossed the ball hard from the right wing, Ghaly tried to head it to Mido in the box but the Egyptian couldn't get to it.

59th min. GHALY WON A PENALTY KICK FOR SPURS! Low pass to the Egyptian in the area, he took it past Tugay in style and the latter caught him with a deliberate foul inside the area, Tugay was sent off for the foul and Spurs won the Penalty kick. Defoe took it and scored 1-1 now!

65th min. A cross was delivered into Spurs area, Mido controlled the ball on his chest but it hit his arm as well, the home fans wanted a penalty kick but the referee waved play on.

73rd min. Ghaly tried a through pass for Mido but he was in offside position.

78th min. Cross from Gray into Spurs area, McCarthy hit it on the volley with his backheel but Robinson had no problems saving it.

82nd min. Defoe out, Berbatov in.

85th min. Long pass to Mido, he couldn't head the ball and it fell to Ekotto but the latter sent it horribly wide.

86th min. Great cross from Mido to Huddlestone who headed the ball at goal but it came off a defender and went behind for a corner.

90+2 RED CARD FOR GHALY! Terrible call from the match refere! It was a 50/50 aerial challenge with Ghaly involved but the referee thought that Ghaly elbowed the player and gave him a straight red!
