Mido in Ajax' number 11 shirt

Egyptian ace Mido will wear the number 11 shirt next season with Tottenham which was his shirt number in Ajax as well.

While wearing Ajax' number 11 shirt, Mido won the Dutch Eredivisie, the Amstel Cup and also the Dutch Super Cup.

Mido "Joking" told EP a few years ago that the number 11 shirt is his preferred number: "My best number is eleven, I like it because it makes balance on my back so I don't fall easily on the field".

Now, Mido is back to England and is back to his preferred shirt number too. Hopefully he will get back to scoring ways and help Spurs to improve their form.

It should be noted that the Egyptian will be able to participate in games once his work permit is granted to him. So, he will hopefully be in the match squad for next weekend's important clash between Manchester United and Tottenham.

It is also worth mentioning that the other target man Berbatov suffered a groin injury while playing for his country. Berbatov will be out of action for 10-15 days and this could give Mido a golden chance to start in the next game.
