Blackburn announced signing Francis Jeffers,
who was at Charlton Athletic last season, and had previously
had a big-money spell at Arsenal.
To add to this, they caught the Besiktas target Jason
Roberts of Wigan Athletic.
This is seen as a compensation for the departure of
Craig Bellamy, who left the club to Liverpool not so
long ago. Paul Dickov also left the club to Manchester
City at the end of the season. Jeffers is known as a
target man, while Roberts can add serious pace to the
team.
Mido has been linked with a number of other English clubs,
but nothing is clear yet...
