Cairo giants
Zamalek showed serious interest in landing ex-Ahly and
current Ankaragucu midfielder Mohamed Gouda on loan
in January.

Will Gouda make the switch to Zamalek?
According to Egyptian daily newspaper
Al-Gomhoreya, Ankaragucu's midfielder Mohamed Gouda
is currently negotiating terms with Zamalek in order
to join the Cairo based side on loan in the next transfer
window in January.
The player and club officials met during
the player's vacation in Cairo and discussed transfer
terms. Gouda revealed that his contract with Ankaragucu
contains a clause that prevents him from signing to
any Egyptian club except his former club Al-Ahly. However,
the clause will be in effect only if he received a permanent
transfer deal and so, his loan to Zamalek can go through.
