Reports claimed that Spurs are willing to bring Blackburn's
highly rated player David Bentley. They offered £7million
plus both Hossam Ghaly and Aaron Lennon in order to
win the player's signature.
It appears that Egyptian midfielder Hossam
Ghaly will play for Blackburn next season. Reports suggested
today that Spurs are willing to transfer him plus the
star midfielder Aaron Lennon in exchange of Blackburn's
highly rated player David Bentley.
Reports suggested that Liverpool are willing
to pay £12million for the player who rejected
the last contract offer from Blackburn. However, Tottenham
are willing to hijack Liverpool's move for the player
by offering £7million plus Ghaly and Lennon.
Ghaly alone is worth £3million and
Lennon is at least double or triple that amount which
means that the potential of the deal is worth £13-19million.
It should be noted that Ghaly has returned
to Spurs after ending his loan spell with Derby County.
The Egyptian is currently a part of Egypt's squad which
will face DR Congo tonight.
It should also be mentioned that Spurs fans are willing to
welcome Ghaly back to the team but the club board remain adamant
that Ghaly won't represent Spurs again as they are trying
their best to offload the Egyptian this summer.
