  • Hossam Ghaly played from the start for Derby in their away match versus Blackburn Rovers. Derby managed to take the lead through Miller who received a long clearing pass from the keeper and scored to give Derby the lead. However, the homeside was able to get back to the game just before half time and even score 2 more goals in the 2nd half. Ghaly came off in the 66th minute and wasn't very happy with his substitution.

Derby were going all-out attack, with both Kenny Miller and the Robert Earnshaw starting. It was also a first return for Jay McEveley and Robbie Savage, so the Rams fans expected them to reduce their conceded number of goals.

In the 13th minute Hossam Ghaly nicked the ball in midfield and fed Kenny Miller. Miller got a tame shot in, but it caused no problem for Brad Friedel.

There wasn't much from Hossam Ghaly in the rest of the game until he was substituted in the 66th minute with Sterjovski as the Derby manager made a double substitution , Robbie Savage & Roy Carroll were rated as Derby's best performers with rating of 8, while Ghaly was the same as the rest of his team mates with a rating of 5 .

Hossam Ghaly seemed to be unhappy with being substituted as everyone knows that he is the best performer among the Derby's team. The Egyptian ignored his manager and headed directly to one of the club fans to sign an autograph for him. Ghaly kept shaking his head in dismay as Paul Jewel subbed him for the 2nd time in a row.

The match commentators and the cameras focused on the incident and one of the commentators asked the other: "Didn't we see this before?" in a try to remind his teammates and viewers about Ghaly's angry reaction against Spurs former coach Martin Jol.

In fact, Ghaly's substitution allowed Blackburn to extend their lead to two goals and helped them dominate the midfield ever further and so, this fully justify the angry reaction from the Egyptian towards his manager.

However, it was obvious that Ghaly should try harder to manage his anger if he wants to avoid having a badboy image in the Premier league as in almost every match, commentators keep mentioning his angry reaction towards Martin Jol in the last season.

Such negative comments could result in making things harder for the Egyptian to join better clubs and so, Ghaly will have to be very careful with his reactions on the field and upon substitution.

It should be noted that Ghaly still have a match to play for Derby before returning to Tottenham as his loan will end at end of the current season. The Egyptian next destination is not clear till now but a move to Holland or Boro might be likely to happen this summer.

    More on Ghaly soon..
