Hossam
Ghaly played a full match for Derby and impressed despite
his side's massive defeat at home by six goals to nil.
Ghaly was the best Derby performer as usual and had
two close attempts on goal. He also did so well in midfield.
Hossam Ghaly was the best Derby player
on the field despite his side's terrible loss at home
against Aston Villa. Ghaly played the full match. He
did extremely well in the opening 25 minutes but Villa
managed to score a controversial goal. After this goal,
the Rams collapsed completely and Villa managed to score
two more goals to make the score 0-3 after 35 minutes.
Ghaly and the rest of his teammates performance
faded after Villa's first goal and the game became one
way traffic for the guests who scored three more goals
in the 2nd half to end the game in a humiliating 0-6
defeat.
Ghaly shone in the opening minutes and
got a chance to score in the 17th minute when he played
a clever one-two pass and managed to nutmeg Villa's
last man, Ghaly then tried to bury the ball home but
the defense cleared the ball before the Egyptian.
As usual, Ghaly showed some good touches
and vision. But that wasn't enough to help his side
as the difference in class between both teams was huge.
Most of the fans were happy with Ghay's performance today. A
fan described him as the only Premiership class player they
got in their team. However, some fans weren't happy with Ghaly's
performance. They admitted that he is above all his teammates
in terms of caliber and skills, but the fans believe that the
Egyptian didn't give his all in the game and didn't look interested.
They hinted that Ghaly wants to leave Derby and move to a bigger
club and so, he didn't show fighting spirit in the game.
With this defeat, Derby remained rock bottom
with only eleven points.
