In the 2nd half, particularly in the 62nd minute, Everton scored
their only goal through Leon Osman. The goal came after a combined
error between Ghaly and defense as Osman received a long through
pass which made him one on one with the keeper. Ghaly should
have done vbetter covering this space in midfield but the Egyptian
went forward to support the attack at that moment.
Minutes later, Ghaly was booked as he had to
foul an Everrton payer who ran down the left flank but Ghaly
stopped him illegally and went away with a yellow card in
the end.
Then came Ghaly's best moment in the game when
he made a superb chip over an Everton player and brought it
to the ground, he was then challenged by a couple of players
but he took the ball past them and tried to shoot from long
range but his shot went over.
Ghaly continued to impress in the remaining
minutes. The Egyptian was praised by the match commentators
who kept praising the player ability and form in the game.
Derby Fans Want Ghaly Next Season:
Derby fans are delighted with Hossam Ghaly and
dream he can sign permanently for thm. Most of the fans admit
that a player of Ghaly's caliber will be hard to keep as he
will prefer to play in the Premiership or move abroad. However,
the fans are asking their board to offer the Egyptian a lucrative
contract in order to kep him next season.
The Rams believe that Ghaly will easily become
the best player in the Championship next season and with him
playing alongside Savage, the side should have no problems
achieving propotion within a year.
