  • Ghaly continued to shine in the Arab Games and scored a great goal in the final match versus Saudi Arabia. The game ended in a 2-1 win for Egypt as Moteb added a second goal before half time while the Saudi team clawed a goal back in the 2nd half from a penalty kick.

The Tottenham midfielder scored from a great long range effort as he sent an unstoppable shot with his right into the top corner.

It should be noted that the Pharaohs had a numerical advantage in the 2nd half after the sending off or Reda Takar who elbowed Abo Treka in the first half.

Ghaly's form in the tournament was a surprise to many. The Egyptian midfielder looked in a very good shape despite his lack of first team football and lack of club training.

Ghaly is linked with a move outside Tottenham in January with a number of Premiership showing increasing interest in the talented midfielder. However, nothing is certain as of yet.

Apart from Ghaly's news, Tottenham drew away with West Ham in an exciting encounter. The home side took the lead through Cole in the 20th minute but Michael Dawson equalized for the guests in the 67th minute.

Spurs almost won the game at the death as the referee awarded them a penalty kick in the stoppage time but Defoe wasted the big chance and the game ended in a draw.

More on Ghaly and Tottenham soon.....
