Bruce this week left the Blues after his
job was insecure due to a new ownership. He resigned
and agreed with Wigan Athletic, who have failed to perform
so far this season.
Rumours claim Bruce, who definitely needs to improve
the Wigan squad once he officially signs, is taking
another look at Hossam Ghaly.
Though the pair had their disagreements, Bruce may
attempt to buy the out-of-favour midfielder.
Ghaly, who has played in the Arab Games for Egypt,
is said to be wanted by Al-Ahly, his former side.
EgyptianPlayers.com can confirm that a number of clubs
in England are tracking the midfielder, one of which
is expected to be Aston Villa.
It would be a surprise to see Ghaly move to Wigan, after the
previous situation at Birmingham. And if Ghaly thought the
quality at the Midlands club wasn't good enough, he may well
think the same about relegation candidates Wigan.
