Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly is training
currently with Spurs but he will unlikely have the same
chance he had last season. The Egyptian was a second
choice after Lennon for the right midfielder spot and
sometime was the first choice as Lennon played often
on the left.
However, after the signing of Boating
and the faliure of Ghaly's transfer to Blues, Ghaly's
chances to play first team football with Spurs look
very slim.
While Jol admitted that the Egyptian did
very well last season as a right midfielder and assisted
more than anyone else, the Dutch coach stressed that
the club already got a replacement for the Egyptian
and they didn't expect him to return to the club again.
Reports suggest that Aston Villa are showing
interest in the Egyptian and could offer for him in
the next few days to strengthen their squard for the
new season whicch is going to kick off in few days.
The move to Villa could be Ghaly's best option as he will
have a better chance to start and play in his main position
as central midfielder.
