Rumours continued to spread about the reasons beyond
the collapse of Ghaly's transfer to Blues. Some unconfirmed
news revealed that a bust-up with the manager Steve
Bruce is the main reason.
According to some inside sources in Birmingham,
Ghaly went to training this morning with his new teammates.
During the training session, the player tackled his
teammate Mwampa a harsh tackle which started a training
ground row and it involved a number of players. Amongst
them were Tunisians Nafti and Jaidi.
Following the training, players were supposed
to have lunch then join the 2nd part of training but
according to other sources, the Egyptian headed directly
to dressing room.
Bruce asked the Egyptian about his destination
and the latter replied: "I am heading to dressing
room as training is over".
When told that there is another session
of training after lunch, the Egyptian showed signs of
dismay and complained to the coach by saying that he
didn't get used to this when he was at Tottenham.
Bruce replied in anger to the Egyptian:
"But you haven't been training with Tottenham"
indicating that the Egyptian didn't train with Spurs
the whole summer.
After this heated argument, Ghaly attended the 2nd part of
training but didn't show spirit so the coach asked him: "You
don't like to train, do you? Ghaly replied "No".
and so, the coach told the Egyptian to leave training and
pack his bags and head to Tottenham.
The whole story might be true or just a romour
or it could be partially true. EP decided to post it for the
fans as an update till confirmed reports appear in the horizon..
