Spurs won this afternoon versus Stevenage
Boro. The game was the first preparation match in the
preseason and many players missed the game including
Ghaly.
Reports claim that Birmingham City boss
Steve Bruce is interested in Spurs midfielder Hossam
Ghaly as a possible replacement for Leicester City target
Stephen Clemence.
It was also suggested that Ghaly has no
future with Tottenham after he threw the team shirt
onto the ground in anger after he was replaced in the
penultimate day of the premiership.
It should be noted that the Sun claimed
a few days ago that Spurs are willing to listen to offers
for four of the club midfielders and Ghaly was amongst
the four mentioned midfielders..
It is also worth noting that Ghaly himself requested to be
transfer listed a few months ago as he wanted more first team
football. However, the player's request was turned down by
the board.
