  • When asked about whether he will be ready for the up and coming international
    fixture he said:

"Yes, I'm fit and ready to contribute to the national team."

When quizzed on the incident and what had happened Ghaly stated: "It's behind me now, I met with the manager and he said to leave it to him to sort out. We sat down together and I apologised to him and to the fans through the club website. The reason that I showed me anger in this bad way
is because I would play well, and then the next match I would not even make the selection for the squad. Injured players would come back from injury and get selected ahead of me. In my contract there is a clause, I get money for an appearance and this is another reason why I was upset."

He then admitted that he had not yet received his punishment, yet he stated the punishment is likely to be a week's wages (around £20,000) and not two weeks wages like reported.

More on Spurs, and on the future of Mido and Ghaly, soon on EP...
