Ghaly featured in an English newspaper...
The Daily Star newspaper featured Ghaly
and his new teeth as a main story in their sports section,
emphasising his will to beat Arsenal and "sink
his teeth into" them. His four front teeth are
now described as "pearly white gnashers" and
the "Spurs ace" is more than happy with them.
The moment in which he lost his teeth is described as
"X-certificate" and it is revealed that the
Tottenham physio found and picked up the teeth on the
pitch after the incident.
Ghaly describes the moment which he has now seen footage
of. "It's horrible," he says.
"I was shocked when I saw it again. The blood was
coming from everywhere in my head, my lip, my teeth.
"When it happened I was in a pain because I could
feel blood everywhere and I didn't know what was going
on.
"I felt with my tongue and there was a big hole
where my teeth should have been."

Four new teeth for happy Ghaly...
Tottenham play Arsenal in the first-leg
of the League Cup semi-final, looking to meet Chelsea
in the final, after the English champions beat Wycombe
Wanderers yesterday. Earlier this season, Arsenal beat
Spurs 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium, and Hossam Ghaly
was suspended after his red card against Blackburn Rovers.
However, he feels that this time Spurs stand a much
better chance against the Gunners. "We didn't play
very well," he says about the day he missed.
"They (Arsenal) have a very strong team whoever
they choose. They are one of the best teams in England,
in Europe," he continues, before stating that Arsenal
showed an interest in him in the past.

"When I was playing as a youngster in Egypt I heard from
someone that Arsenal were watching me in Cairo. And yeah,
Arsene Wenger came to watch me at one game when I was in Feyenoord
but there wasn't an approach," says the midfielder, adding
that he has always admired the English Premiership.
"I wanted to come to England. I loved the league, it
was one of the strongest in the world . And when I got to
join Spurs it didn't take much of a decision to come here.
I was very happy joining Spurs but even happier when I arrived
and found the atmosphere and the lads and the fans.
"It was great and everybody is kind and lovely with me.
I feel at home. I feel comfortable here."
Ghaly feels that there is a lot of competition in the side
that includes another ten midfielders, but wants to play as
much as possible. "It's hard to get into this team and
hard to stay in there. We've got a big squad, a lot of talented
players and a lot of midfielders.
"But there are a lot of games and I just want to play
as many as I can."
