The Egyptian played his debut with Pascal
Chimbonda, a right-back signed from Wigan Athletic.
"I thought Chimbonda and Ghaly did well; that
is positive," said Martin Jol to the club website.
Mido also made his return for Tottenham. "Mido
came in and he wants to do well for us," added
Jol.
However, Spurs have only picked up three points from
four games, and Martin Jol is aware that this isn't
good enough. He is thus trying to pick the best possible
midfield, which may well include Hossam Ghaly. "We
are still working on getting the right blend in midfield
and I know we have quality enough to go out and get
results," continued the Dutchman.
