Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly returned back to Holland
after a short vacation in Egypt. Hossam missed the friendly
against the amatuer side HSV Hoek though as he is still
in need for rest because of the groin injury that he
suffered three weeks ago.
Feyenoord team are currently in a training
camp as they prepare for the 2nd half of the season.
They played a friendly on Tuesday against an amatuer
side and won the game by two goals to nil.
Hossam Ghaly returned to Holland but he
couldn't feature in the game as Koeman decided to rest
him. The Egyptian is still suffering from groin problems
that prevented him from featuring in the last Eredivisie
clash and (as the official website of Feyenoord claims)
prevented him from participating in the ACN.
It should be mentioned that Feyenoord will play next Sunday
at Arnhem as they face Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie. The
Rotterdammers are just a point behind PSV and a positive result
in next weekend's match will keep them in for the title race.
It is not known though if Hossam Ghaly will
be able to participate in next Sunday's match or not but EP
will keep you updated...
