Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly suffered a groin injury
just before the home match featuring Feyenoord and Willem
II. The game ended in a big margin victory for the Rotterdammers
as they crushed their opponents by six goals to one.
Hosni Abd Rabo will have received great
news that despite his injury he is in the national team
squad. He will join them on the 6th of January, as all
players should.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Belal wouldn't have imagined being
in the squad around a year ago, but his move to Turkey
has reopened his international career.
Ghaly, the Feyenoord star, won't be included due to
the number of players in his position, according to
coach Hassan Shehata, namely, Mohamed Shawki, Hassan
Mostafa, Samir Sabry, Hosni Abd Rabo, Ibrahim Said and
even Ahmed Hassan.
This has also put an end to the Zidan story; as some sources
revealed that the Mainz striker is not in Hassan Shehata's plan
from the start. Other absences include Beshir El Tabei who left
the camp, Ayman Abdelaziz, Shikabala and the injured Amir Azmy.
