Feyenoord Back to Winning Ways

Hossam Ghaly's Feyenoord returned back to victories as they managed to defeat Willem II 1-3 in the game that took place on Sunday afternoon.

It took the Rotterdammers only nine minutes to take the lead. The goal came through the youngster De Guzman who scored his first goal for Feyenoord in that match.

Ten minutes later, Romeo Castelen doubled the lead for Feyenoord. The Dutch international advanced on the keeper, round him and finished in style to make it 0-2 for the guests.

In the 61st minute, Paauwe scored the third goal after a fine cross from Kuyt. The central midfielder moved well to meet Kuyt's cross and sent he ball home from close range to widen the gap between the two teams to three goals.

Willem II couldn't match Feyenoord in the game and they scored only once through Denissen in the stoppage time.


Hossam Ghaly played from the start and showed an overall good performance. However, he wasn't involved in any goal attempts or crucial passes.
