Hossam Ghaly's Feyenoord won their preseason
friendly against the German side Hertha Berlin by three
goals to nil. The Egyptian Ghaly participated in the
game as he came on to replace Hofs in the 77th minute.

While the first half ended in a 0-0 score, Hossam Ghaly's
Feyenoord scored three times in the 2nd half which was
relatively easy as two players from Hertha Berlin were
sent off.
In the 50th minute, the referee showed Okoronkwo the
red card and after just four minutes from his sending
off, Kuyt managed to score Feyenoord's first goal.
In the 58th minute, Neuendorf was shown the 2nd yellow
card and headed to the tunnel as well. Things became
very difficult for the guests as they were one goal
and two men down.
Feyenoord took advantage of the extra men and doubled
their lead in the 69th minute through the striker Kalou
while Lazovic made it 3-0 in the 79th minute.
The Egyptian Ghaly came on the 77th minute of the game
to replace Nicky Hofs while Ekramy didn;t see action
as the main keeper Lodewijks played the full match.
