Abdel Zaher El Saka's Genclerbirligi lost 0-2 this
weekend to the on form Samsunspor. El Saka played the
full 90 minutes and received a yellow card near the
end.
Although Genclerbirligi managed to win their first game
under the management of Oguz Cetin last week, they couldn't
maintain their form and lost by two goals to nil to
Samsunspor.
The match started with pressure from the
homeside (Samsunspor) and they managed to take the lead
after 11 minutes from the kick off. The goal came through
Adnan Güngor.
In the 49th minute of the game, Cenk Isler
doubled Samsun's lead when he buried the ball home after
receiving the assist from Serkan Aykut.
Five minutes before the final whistle,
Samsun's forward Adnan Güngor received a second
yellow card and the home team had to resume the game
with one man down. However, Genclerbirligi couldn't
make advantage of the extra man and the score remained
unchanged till the referee blew the final whistle.
It is worth noting that El Saka received
a yellow card in the last minute of the game after a
harsh foul.
