In a game that saw the meeting of some Egyptians professionals abroad, Gençlerbirligi proved victorious against Ankaragücü. El Saka played for Gençlerbirligi, while Amr El Disuki and Ramadan Ragab played for the opposition. This
match was the big Ankara derby, and it proved so as two red cards were awarded, and there was a lot of violence in the stands.

The match started in a tense atmosphere. In the first half both teams couldn't play at their best. Being a derby, it was a hard game for the players. Gençlerbirligi seemed much better than Ankaragücü however. In fact, Ankaragücü did not have even one organised attack. Despite this, Alkaralar missed two possible goals in the first half, and it ended with a 0-0 tie.

Gençlerbirligi started the second half with Marcel Mbayo playing. With this substitution and effective play from recent siging Skoko, the balance of the match changed. The pressure of Gençlerbirligi made the players of Ankaragücü more aggressive.

In the minute 51, Skoko passed the ball to Mbayo and he scored the first goal of the match. But one minute later Baki Mercimek of Gençlerbirligi got a red card and Gençlerbirligi continued the match ten on eleven.

Keeping in mind that last season Ankaragücü even couldn't beat Genclerbirligi 11 on 9, this seemed no problem for both the players and the supporters of El Saka's team. Youla of Gençlerbirligi scored the second goal in the minute 75 after a pass from Mbayo from the right hand side. 2-0! With the derby heating up as usual, the captain of Ankaragücü, Yilmaz, was also sent off in the minute 84.

This game ended 2-0 to Genclerbirligi. During the match the supporters of Ankaragücü threw stones to those of Alkaralar and a child was injured.

After the match an Ankaragucu fan got onto the pitch in order to attack the players of Gençlerbirligi, but security forces hindered the attack.

What mattered was the score-line. El Saka celebrated with his family and team-mates, holding up the Egyptian flag...
