El Saka wasn't
involved in Eskisehirspor last game of the season. The
away match featured Gaziantepspor and Eskisehirspor and
ended in a 1-1 draw. Striker Solimani Youla gave El Saka's
side the lead in the 53rd minute while the guests equalized
through Beto in the 70th minute. With this draw, El Saka's
side will finish the season in the 11th spot.
Abdel Zaher El Saka's Eskisehirspor avoided
relegation and achieved a midtable finish at end of
the current Turkcell Super League season.
The last match of the season was played
away from home against the 8th side in the table, Gaziantepspor.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Saka's side scored first through Youla
in the 53rd minute but Gaziantep pulled level in the
70th minute. The draw kept Eskisehirspor in the 11th
position with 40 points. Their final position will be
decided tonight as it will depend on the results of
other teams though.
Another important match will be played
tonight as Konyaspor play in a must win home clash with
Ankaraspor. Ayman's side should win the game in order
to revive their hopes of staying in the Super League.
Even with a win, avoiding relegation will not be certain
and will depend on Antalyspor and Denizlispor results.
It should be noted that El Saka wasn't included
in the match squad. However, his compatriot Ayman is
expected to play from the start in Konya's home match
today.
