Egyptian veteran
Abdel Zaher El-Saka returned after his one match ban
to face Galatasaray away from home. El-Saka's side managed
to defeat the Turkish giants with only ten men by a
goal to nil.
El-Saka returned immediately to selection
after he was absent in the last game due to a one match
ban following the red card he received in Kocaelispor
game.
El-Saka played an important role in his side's win
especially after the sending off of the other defender
Safet Nadareviç following a second yellow card
in the 54th minute.
From that moment, El-Saka had to face Galatasaray's
attacks on his own and he did it excellently and managed
to clear all the danger from Gala's crosses and their
veteran striker Umit Karan.
In the 69th minute Souleymane Youla put Eskisehirspor
1-0 ahead. Youla received a the ball after a cross from
the left flank in the area and buried it in the net to
score his 11th goal of the season.
The former Genclerbirligi duo El-Saka and Youla achieved
a excellent result for Eskisehirspor to increase their
points to 30 points and become in the 10th place in
table.
