Saka Back as Ten Men Eskisehir Stun Galatasaray

Egyptian veteran Abdel Zaher El-Saka returned after his one match ban to face Galatasaray away from home. El-Saka's side managed to defeat the Turkish giants with only ten men by a goal to nil.

El-Saka returned immediately to selection after he was absent in the last game due to a one match ban following the red card he received in Kocaelispor game.

El-Saka played an important role in his side's win especially after the sending off of the other defender Safet Nadareviç following a second yellow card in the 54th minute.

From that moment, El-Saka had to face Galatasaray's attacks on his own and he did it excellently and managed to clear all the danger from Gala's crosses and their veteran striker Umit Karan.


In the 69th minute Souleymane Youla put Eskisehirspor 1-0 ahead. Youla received a the ball after a cross from the left flank in the area and buried it in the net to score his 11th goal of the season.

The former Genclerbirligi duo El-Saka and Youla achieved a excellent result for Eskisehirspor to increase their points to 30 points and become in the 10th place in table.
