EXCLUSIVE: EgyptianPlayers.com has learnt that Abdelzaher El Saka may join his former club Genclerbirligi in January.

El Saka, who left Konyaspor by mutual consent after the arrival of a new coach, is being sought after by a number of clubs in the Super Lig. It is also anticipated that Zamalek - who almost signed him last summer - will re-negotiate with him.

EgyptianPlayers.com has, however, learnt that Genclerbirligi are closest to signing the defender.

It is not yet known whether El Saka's termination with Konya means he can sign for a new club now, or whether he has to wait until the transfer window at the beginning of 2008.

The veteran could not be reached for clarification.
