The ball came off the Egyptian defender
in the 87th minute after a strike from Volkan, making
the score 2-2 in this Fortis Turkish Cup fixture.
The game had already witnessed two own goals. Fellow
defender Omer put a dangerous cross into his own net,
before Tayfun equalised for Konyaspor at the beginning
of the second half.
In the 50th minute Ugur's delivery for Konya saw Ediz
of Ankaraspor put the ball beyond his own keeper, while
being pressurised by Dasilva.
And with three minutes remaining, Volkan was completely
isolated on the left-hand side, outside the area. He
hit the ball into the centre, towards the goal, but
El Saka's attempted clearance turned it past his goalkeeper.
The draw means Konya won't be topping this clearly open
group at this stage.
